Guest Cary Grant – Abbott & Costello Radio – Costello needs talent for his new radio station, and Cary Grant tries to help by bringing in a man who he claims is “the most talented man in the country”.
The Abbott and Costello Radio Program – Guest Cary Grant, originally broadcast: 6th April 1944
Lou Costello needs talent for his new radio station: “Station IOU, the voice of the creditors”. Bud tries to help out, but Lou insults the lady singer. Then Cary comes by, with Don Barclay. The two of them juggle across the stage, 75 clubs — but they haven’t quite figured out how to do it with actual clubs!
Then, Barclay’s become a writer, and Cary demonstrates his “great” radio drama. Followed by animal impressions.
